First of a series of Lucifer's Fall splits planned for this year couples the Aussies with Sweden's Acolytes of Moros. Two very different exponents of doom metal, LF are a band that have a more irreverent feel to them, somewhat akin to Yorkshire's Lamp of Thoth / Arkham Witch, while AoM are lo-fi doom metal fundamentalists. The two bands' sounds actually complement each other very well, resulting in a split that does a good job of showcasing each band's take on the doom template. Sonny92

If Elric had a soundtrack it would be this. It's everything you want from a epic metal album. Like a hot poker in the eye, but in a good way. Scott Malthouse
